91.4 % of North Dakota adults agree that alcohol use is a problem in their community. 37.6 % of North Dakota adults say that they know someone who suffers from an addiction of some sort. North Dakota is ranks 8th in the nation for binge alcohol use! The facts can go on! Don’t become one of the statistics! If you or a family member suffer from alcohol misuse, be the person who extends a helping hand! Sargent County District Health Unit is pleased to have partnered with the State of North Dakota in combatting substance misuse by providing resources, trainings, and increasing our prevention work within our community.
